I had an SSI hearing today with a wonderful lady from the Fayetteville, NC area. With a great Judge that I had not spoken to since before this whole pandemic began. The Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) was so down to Earth and compassionate with my client who suffers both physical and mental health impairments. The ALJ made it clear to her that she had won her case today! This is fairly rare and we often wait several months for a written decision and are never quite sure what that decision will be! I called my client immediately following the hearing to be sure she understood what had just happened. She did understand! And man, oh, man was she excited, tearful and grateful! It really reminded me why I am in this line of work and have been for 22 years!!!
I had the pleasure of having attorney Cole represent me on my disability case. I am from Rocky Mount area and had contacted several attorneys in the area.
